Drepano

Athens, Greece
3.75 /5
About this spot:
Drepano is one of those spots with big number of PRO riders hanging around all the time. Mirror flat water is great to practice the jumps and there is always a resting crowd to look at your double handle passes. Spot is a little small and the wind is off-shore at the flat-water place. You can ride on the other side of the bank - it is choppier but the wind is onshore and PROs are not confusing with crazy jumps. There is another spot nearby Athens - Loutsa. It has very chilled atmosphere and mostly used by locals. Again, there is an awesome flat water area (in between the islands) where riders brush their freestyle tricks. It can be slightly tricky to launch the kite in the cross-shore winds.
