Gokova

Gokova, Turkey
4.6 /5
Beginner friendly
About this spot:
Gokova is one of our favorite spots. Just a two-hour drive from the airport and you find yourself in a small village that lives all around kitesurfing and fishing. There are stunning landscapes. The location between the mountains creates a Venturi effect so you don't have to worry about the wind stability. Locals say its windy over 90% of days during the season. The water is flat. Riding there brings great fun. There are few kiteschools both for beginners and advanced riders who want to nail a few new tricks. Due to another devaluation of the lira, it seems to be one of the cheapest spots.
